your new neurotic avian roommate

we were at fort mason on thursday and I felt like i was in Wonka Land

because all of the plants tasted sweet or salty or strange but good. i was there with my botany class and my professor showed us the flowers of the eucalyptus. if you are lucky enough to catch them in bloom you can taste the nector just inside of the stamen, on the yellowish part, it is really beautiful and delicious
